  My name Is Maria Jordan. I am originally from Basingstoke, but am now living in Gosport near portsmouth. The first hospital I was admitted to was H. Hospital in maidenhead. I went in having a few issues, but this hospital made me worse. They would watch you constantly , lock you away and basically throw away the key, not teach you any independence or how to keep yourself safe because you became dependent on others to keep you safe. 4 Months later I was transferred to Chalkhill hospital in haywards heath. If it wasnt for chalkhill i wouldnt be where i am today. They taught me independence, woke me up and showed me what reality is really like, taught me that i can only help myself with the help of others and that i can keep myself safe, They made me feel safe within myself and had faith and trust in me. They worked in such a professional way that you could never get attached to any of the staff there, but you can trust them with anything and talk to them when ever you need to, whereas at h. you could get extremely attached and wish for them to work all the time . I would give chalkhill a 5 star because they really brought me back, I had been gone for a while, but they brought me back and really helped me to get through what was a very difficult time for me, Thank you so much to all the staff at chalkhill for making my life easier and making me feel stronger and making it easier to move onto the next big step of my life. I couldnt have done it without you, thank you so much. I would recommend this hospital to any teenager out there who is struggling and needs extra support.
